3,600 metre pressure pipe in dim Ø 800 mm

– faster installation thanks to high quality pipes.

Installation in Falkenberg municipality of 3,600 metres of pressure pipes in dim Ø 800 mm intended for wastewater, and 1,500 metres of pressure pipes in dim Ø 355 mm intended for drinking water. Hallingplast has been entrusted to supply pipes including bends for this project.

Pressure pipes from Hallingplast are always made of 100% virgin material, i.e. pipes with no additives of recycled material, allowing us to guarantee the highest quality and full traceability of the material. For the Falkenberg project, we have delivered 1,500 meters of pressure pipes for drinking water. We firmly adhere to the principle that this type of pipes should not be made from recycled materials, ensuring full traceability of the raw material and eliminating any risk of contamination.

“For us as a contractor, it’s important that pipes are delivered according to schedule so that the project is not delayed, resulting in additional costs. The fact that the pipes are also round makes the job of welding faster, ensuring high-quality joints. It’s also reassuring to know that the pipes and bends come from the same supplier,” says Sven-Gunnar Niklasson, site manager at Jonab.

Magnus Danielson Oknestam, project manager and Lars Svederberg, construction manager at Vivab, who are the clients of this project.

“As the client, it’s important that we get a pipeline with the maximum service life and one that provides secure pipeline ownership,” says Lars Svederberg from Vivab.

The joints are welded by Vabon in a specially built workstation.
Vabon performs the welding and has extensive experience of similar projects.

“The welding process in this project has been exceptionally smooth, as the pipes have basically been completely round. With no need to rotate the pipes for alignment, we have been able to achieve weld joints of the highest quality,

says Adam Wójciga from Vabon, who is responsible for welding in this project.
