Our PP material for sewer pipes has been developed for Nordic conditions, where cold temperatures require an impact-resistant material. The material is weldable, which means that you can get a fully welded pipe system in areas where “aggressive” ground can be harmful to the rubber seals. This also means that special couplings and wells can be welded to order. Since most fittings and wells on the market are made of PP, it is easy to find a situation where different pipe materials are mixed, such as PP and PVC.

Good reasons for choosing PP pipe systems from Hallingplast:

  • Long service life, at least 100 years
  • Resistant to high pressure flushing
  • No problems with corrosion
  • The pipes are made of 100% PP without any fillers
  • Chemical resistant
  • Good welding properties
  • High impact resistance even in cold conditions, which is especially important when installing in winter
  • Withstands high temperatures and is more heat resistant than comparable materials
  • 100% recyclable, contains no environmentally hazardous substances
  • Fixed sealing rings on pipes and fittings EPDM rubber meets the strictest sealing requirements
  • Smooth inside minimises friction loss
  • High ring stiffness
