The risk of contamination of drinking water by diffusion increases in contaminated soil and in soil at industrial sites, landfills, cemeteries or flood zones. GEROfit REX solves this problem by having an aluminium diffusion barrier between the pipe and the jacket. This additional barrier protects the medium but also the environment when transporting contaminated water or sewage.
Diffusion-proof fittings
A pipe system with a diffusion barrier is only as strong as its weakest part. To ensure the same high quality of GEROfit REX throughout the pipe system, we also offer a wide range of custom-made diffusion-proof fittings, installation tools and other materials adapted for diffusion-proof pipe systems. This saves working time on the construction site and ensures consistently reliable protection against external chemical influences. GEROfit REX is also prepared for welding and is stripped at both ends.
GEROfit REX is approved according to KIWA BRL17101 Class III (highest class) and is available in dimensions from 32 mm to 630 mm and in SDR class 7/11/17, with other sizes on request.
