COEX HT stands for “Co-Extruded High Temperature” and is a cable protection pipe made of PE100 RT that contains additional heat stabilisers enabling it to withstand higher operating temperatures. The material therefore has a longer service life at higher temperatures than traditional PE cable pipes. The pipe is supplied with a solid colour exterior.

Contact Hallingplast for further information on lifetime calculations and for advice on service life and operating temperature.

Benefits of Hallingplast COEX HT:

  • Withstands 70°C continuously and 90°C for a short time
  • Yellow or red exterior indicating that it is a cable protection pipe
  • Butt welding or electro-welding with PE100 RT fittings
  • Great flexibility that can reduce the need for bends
  • High impact strength even at low temperatures
  • Homogeneous pipes
  • Heat-stabilised to withstand the heat from the cable in the pipe throughout its service life
  • Can be recycled
  • Meets the requirements of the Swedish Power Grid’s instructions for trenchless installations.
  • Suitable for trenchless applications such as guided drilling, ploughing, etc.
