In 2024, Karlskrona Municipality decided to build a new underwater pipeline using Hallingplast SESU, a jacketed and fully weighted pipe that does not require concrete weights. The decision meant that the municipality chose a unique solution over the traditional and time-consuming combination of standard pressure pipes and concrete weights.
Old drinking water pipelines in Gothenburg need to be replaced. A pioneering project is being carried out, with the aim of making the smallest possible climate impact, to implement a major infrastructure project in water and sewage. The project will then become a template for the rest of the country.
